Amish made his debut as a documentary host with “The Legends of Ramayana with Amish” by DiscoveryPlus. The documentary released in April, 2022 and was the most watched programme on DiscoveryPlus for the year. Amish’s sincere delivery style and his deep knowledge of the subject found an instant connect with the audience. Later that year, Amish also hosted an episode for India@75, a series being released by the Ministry of Information & broadcasting in August, 2022 to mark 75 years of India’s independence.

Amish had the honour of hosting an episode on Faith for the Warner Bros Discovery documentary series, “The Journey of India,” alongside co-host Amitabh Bachchan. In this episode, Amish beautifully paid homage to the diverse tapestry of faiths that characterize India’s cultural landscape.

On January 25, 2024, viewers witnessed the premiere of Amish’s latest documentary, “Ram Janmabhoomi: Return of a Splendid Sun,” on NDTV. This remarkable documentary, which delves into the history of the Ram Janmabhoomi and explores the life of Lord Ram, was hosted, conceptualized, and co-produced by Amish in collaboration with Dilip Piramal. The documentary, a testament to Amish’s passion for storytelling, was made available on JioCinema, allowing audiences to immerse themselves in the rich heritage and cultural tapestry of India’s revered past.
